Reader,
It's easy to think that if we’re not totally dialed in with our money, it means we’re doing something wrong or need to change right now.
I hope that my energy and enthusiasm about all of this isn't fueling a sense of "should". If anything, I simply hope that how much I can geek out about this stuff leaves you a tiny bit more curious that you were before.
Because sometimes, we’re managing so many other complex parts of life - relationships, work, health, caregiving - that our money stuff just…is what it is for a while.
Maybe you’re spending a little more than you’d like. Maybe you know you could be paying closer attention. But right now? It’s not the thing that needs your focus. And that’s okay.
Money isn't just numbers on a page. It’s tangled up in how we take care of ourselves, how we cope, how we get through.
Money is both incredibly simple and deeply complex, all at the same time.
And you'll know when you’re ready to look more closely. You’ll feel it.
I’m not here to push or convince you. I just want to offer a space where, if and when you are ready, you know you have someone you can talk to.
Until then, it’s okay to be exactly where you are. I hope you have a beautiful Sunday!
Allegra
Reach out when you're ready.
